I travel across the country often and I never hesitate to mention that Toronto is my home. I am proud of it, and proud of the many great gardens in it.

 

 I have heard Toronto referred to as many things – some of them not flattering – which only goes to prove how little many people actually know about it. Toronto is a great Canadian city in dire need of a public relations specialist within its own country.

 

The best description of Toronto that I have ever heard is "a city within a park." Here in the "big smoke," where commuters travel long distances at very slow speeds as they go to and from their workplaces,...
