Watching out for the flu: What you can do?


There are many ways to prepare for the onslaught of flu season but the best is still to get a flu shot every fall. Here’s what you should know.

How often have your heard people say that … or caught yourself saying it? The flu season usually runs from November to April, and soon it will be time to act. Fortunately, more people are recognizing the importance of protecting themselves with a flu shot. In 2004, about 44% of Canadians were vaccinated against the flu.
